Drivers in Barrie can expect some delays on Essa Road in the Mapleview Drive West area.
From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily, IPAC Paving and its sub-contractors working for the City of Barrie will be implementing lane closures, restrictions and shifts, with traffic control personnel on-site as necessary, on Essa Road from Mabern Street to Mapleview Drive West.
The work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 22 and continue until Friday, June 28.
The traffic measures are needed to complete construction work related to the Essa Road resurfacing and sidewalk project, from Mabern to Dyer Boulevard.
"Motorists should anticipate delays as a result of these operations," the city stated in a news release.
