Bradford, ON -The South Simcoe Police Service is investigating after a body was discovered in the canal in Bradford.
On Friday, April 15, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service was called regarding the discovery of a body in the canal in the area of Canal Road between Simcoe Road and 5th Line. The coroner attended the scene and the body was transported to the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Police are trying to determine the identity. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
