County archives closing to the public from Sunday until June

During this period, county says some staff will remain on site to handle transfers and reference requests from lower-tier municipalities

COUNTY OF SIMCOE

Simcoe County’s Archives will be closed to the public from Dec. 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025. This closure includes Reading Room appointments and donation drop-offs.

During this period, some staff will remain on site to handle transfers and reference requests from the lower-tier municipalities. However, donations and reference requests from the public will not be able to be accommodated during the closure.

If you have an urgent and time-sensitive donation, please contact the archives directly to discuss possible accommodations.
