Douglas Brewster, formerly of Painswick and Barrie, passed away in his 65th year on May 25, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Dagmar (2000)and Douglas Brewster (2022.). He is survived by his daughter Alexandra (Jesse), his sisters Jeannette (Michael), Linda (Doug), and Susan, by nieces and nephews Claire (Chris), Shelby (Erin), Sarah, John and Kate, and by great-nieces Scotland, Zoey and Cameron.
Doug was wonderfully cared for by many Durham Region healthcare professionals while confronting physical and cognitive health declines over the last several years. For this, he was, and his family is, forever grateful. His time with us is ended, but he is not forgotten.
