At approximately 9:40 a.m. today, Bradford firefighters, Simcoe County paramedics and South Simcoe police officers were called to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 88, just west of 10 Side Road in Bradford.
Police say an eastbound vehicle had crossed all four lanes of traffic and rolled over in the northbound ditch.
By the time first-responders arrived on scene, police say the driver had fled the scene.
Police located the suspect at a nearby gas station where he was taken into custody.
A witness returned to the scene to give his statement to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
