Victim injured in 'road-rage' incident, suspect flees: police

South Simcoe police are searching for a suspect after an alleged "road-rage incident" escalated into an assault in Bradford on Wednesday.

South Simcoe police are looking for witnesses after a "road-rage incident" led to an apparent assault in Bradford on Wednesday.

The victim says the incident happened on Meadowhawk Trail, in the northwest area of town, around the lunch hour on March 27, according to police. The argument allegedly escalated into an assault and left the victim with minor injuries. 

An unknown man operating a Jeep fled the scene before police were contacted. 

Meadowhawk residents are asked to review their surveillance footage in an effort to help identify the suspect. 

“The safety and well being of our community remains a top priority and collaborative efforts between the public and the police are key,” the department said in a media release issued March 28.
