About Us
The Salvation Army, Barrie Bayside Mission Centre is a spiritual and social services ministry in the heart of downtown Barrie. The Bayside Mission Centre is dedicated to serving our community where we can provide opportunity and a foundation where both men and families can gain a source of strength and direction to relaunch their lives to fulfill their hopes. The BBMC currently operates a 28 bed shelter for men with an additional 10 transitional housing units program, an emergency family shelter program, a community meal program, serving free lunch and suppers seven days a week and a family services program. Through both our family and men’s shelter we offer a client-centered case management for moderate to high acuity, helping individuals achieve personal goals and strive towards their independence.
