I just moved to beautiful Barrie in July. I am handicapped, in an electric wheelchair and appalled at some drivers’ habits.
When I’m on the sidewalk, have the light in my favour, many drivers drive across my path by overshooting the wide pavement stripe that requires them to stop. They don’t even slow down.
They cross in front of me and I have nearly been hit 40 times because they don’t follow the rules of the road.
I wish police on Bayfield Street would start charging these drivers. I’m terrified.
