Busby Centre's annual Street Light Gala creates 'path to hope'

The Busby Centre proudly announces the much-anticipated Annual Street Light Gala on Nov. 15, 2024, at Tangle Creek.

This elegant evening will unite community leaders, local businesses, and supporters to help raise vital funds to combat homelessness and support those in need within Simcoe County. The gala will feature live entertainment, a silent auction, and a gourmet dining experience—all supporting The Busby Centre's mission to end chronic homelessness.

The Street Light Gala is a night to remember. This year’s theme, "Illuminating the Path to Hope," reflects The Busby Centre's and its supporters' ongoing commitment to providing essential services and housing solutions to the most vulnerable.

The evening will also feature Mark Henderson, an essential voice in the community, alongside inspiring stories of resilience from Busby Centre participants. Attendees can bid on unique items during the silent auction, with all proceeds supporting the Centre's essential programs.

Sara Peddle, Executive Director of The Busby Centre, expressed the importance of the event in addressing homelessness and creating lasting change: "The Street Light Gala is an incredible opportunity for our community to unite to support a cause affecting many. Every dollar raised helps us provide housing, food, and critical services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
