The holidays are right around the corner and this year the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is coming to Barrie.
The truck will be parked at No Frills, located at 135 Wellington St., on Friday from 5-7 p.m. to "light up the city and bring joy and holiday magic," according to a news release from the beverage giant.
Admission is free and open to the public.
New to this year’s tour is Canada’s Kindest Community, a nationwide search, in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada, where Canadians are invited to share acts of kindness, whether their own or those of others, that have made life in their community better. The community with the most nominations will receive a $50,000 donation to their local Community Foundation.
Attendees will have an opportunity to capture a picture with the iconic Coca-Cola holiday truck driven by Santa himself, receive a complimentary Coca-Cola beverage, and nominate their community as part of a nationwide search to identify and reward Canada’s Kindest Community.
