There were lights, cameras and action at Sunnidale Park on Wednesday as a film crew set up shop.
A handful of actors could be spotted filming scenes involving a food truck during the midday shoot near the Dorian Parker Centre.
No one involved with the production would speak to BarrieToday on the sidelines of the set, but an online search reveals the name of the film project is The Hearts of Robin Lane — Shari's Story, with Marco Deufemia as the director.
Deufemia is known for directing recent Christmas movies such as Christmas with the Knightlys, Christmas in Wolf Creek and Country Roads Christmas.
