BRAVADO SHOW CHOIR
********************************
Get ready to kick off the holiday season with a spectacular musical experience! Bravado!, Barrie’s beloved Show Choir, is excited to announce its enchanting Christmas show, Mistletones, set to light up the stage on Nov. 29 and 30, 2024 at the Collier Street United Church.
Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with heartwarming melodies and festive cheer! Our talented choir will serenade you with a delightful mix of traditional carols like O Holy Night and Away in a Manger, alongside modern favourites such as Christmas at the Movies and the lively The Christmas Can-Can.
Musical director Ellen Wells promises “a show that will evoke cherished memories of holidays past while creating new ones filled with awe-inspiring harmonies and a sprinkle of holiday shenanigans.”
The choir will perform a stunning rendition of Carol of the Bells by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in Ukrainian. And don’t miss our popular guest artist, cellist Steve McNie, who will add a magical touch to the evening.
Children’s matinee: A Festive Family Affair. Bring the whole family to our children’s matinee on Saturday, Nov. 30. The fun begins at 1 p.m. with seasonal crafts, followed by a delightful show at 2 p.m. designed especially for our young audience. Enjoy familiar tunes like Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Up On the Housetop, complete with a special visit from Santa and Olaf.
