Just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, police were called to a structure fire at 556 Essa Road, in the City of Barrie.
As a result of the fire the entire home has sustained severe damage. It is believed the home has been abandoned for several years.
There have been no injuries reported. The Ontario Fire Marshalls Officer has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire, and police will remain on scene.
