The City of Barrie has again installed accessibility mats at Centennial Beach to allow for easier access to visitors with mobility issues this summer.
The city confirmed the installation with BarrieToday this morning.
The mats have been anchored on the sand at the beach between lifeguard chairs No. 4 and No. 5.
The mats allow people in wheelchairs or with strollers the ability to wheel closer to the water's edge and is accessible from the boardwalk.
