On International Women’s Day, the Barrie Chamber of Commerce is proud to publicly announce the recipients of the Women In Business Awards 2024, presented by Meridian.

In a moving event held Thursday with an audience of more than 300 people, the event recognized the accomplishments of female leaders who have shown exceptional skills in their respective fields.

This year’s awards highlighted the contributions and innovative spirit of women in the Barrie business community, acknowledging their efforts in shaping a more inclusive future for everyone.

Keynote speaker Candice Thomas, from Evergreen Wellness Studio, captivated the audience and received a standing ovation. Her dedication to promoting maternal mental health is truly inspiring; there wasn’t a single dry eye in sight.

Daniel Tisch, the appointed president and CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, delivered an uplifting speech emphasizing the significance of community and fostering business success throughout Ontario. We eagerly anticipate his leadership and driving solutions while at the helm of the OCC.

The ceremony gathered an audience of esteemed business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders in a vibrant showcase of talent, ambition, and dedication. Each winner represents the best of Barrie’s business and community sectors, demonstrating outstanding leadership, creativity, and a deep commitment to positive change.
