Nearly 500 customers in Barrie’s south end are currently without power this morning, according to Alectra.
Initially, there were 1,025 homes and businesses affected by the outage, Alectra said on social media.
The affected area stretches from Little Avenue to Mapleview Drive, and Highway 400 to Huronia Road.
The cause is due to an “undetermined problem,” with the issue under investigation.
Crews have been dispatched to the area.
