Barrie Police say autopsies have been completed on the victims of last week's double homicide but officers are waiting for the coroner to release the cause of death.

The bodies of 19-year-old Nick Pasowisty and his father, 51-year-old James Pasowisty, were found in a William Street duplex on Wednesday.

Police have said they had 'obvious signs of trauma.'

Dyrrin Daley, 24, was arrested hours later at a home on nearby Marcus Street.

Daley has been charged with two counts of first-degree-murder and is due back in court Thursday.

Police say the William Street scene was released earlier today and the Marcus Street scene will be another 24 to 48 hours.
