It was a beautiful first day of the long Family Day weekend on Saturday and thousands of Barrie residents got outside to soak up all that sunshine.
If you were in the sun, it probably felt a lot warmer but Saturday's high of 10.3C was a new record for Feb. 18.
That temperature nudged out the previous record high of 8.8C set in 2011.
People traded winter coats for long-sleeves and some people were spotted wearing t-shirts and shorts.
