NEWS RELEASE
BARRIE FOOD BANK
*************************
The Spring/Easter Food Drive is kicking off this week, the shelves at the food bank are depleted after a challenging winter for many who use our services.
With close to 2,800 people making use of the food bank each month, usage continues to be consistent. Without the continued generous support of our community many would go hungry.
We need your help to replenish our shelves; our goal is to raise 80,000 pounds of food by the end of April 2019.
The call on our services continues to be demanding, your help will prepare us for the months ahead. Every donation makes a difference, host a food drive at your business, in your church at your school, involve your family in a family or neighbourhood food drive.
