3 p.m. update

Barrie Police issued the following news release:

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017 police were called to an address on Thrushwood Drive, in the City of Barrie, just after 4:30 p.m. for reports of a family dispute.

Upon arrival police were advised that 19-year-old Madyson Sears had left the resident following an argument. Police attempted to locate Madyson throughout the night into the early morning hours to check on her well-being.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, just after 9 a.m., Madyson was located deceased. Foul play is not suspect and an autopsy is scheduled at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for Thursday, June 15, 2017.

2:35 p.m. update

Barrie Police stated via Twitter that missing person Madyson Sears has been found deceased.

Foul play is not suspected and an autopsy is scheduled to take place Thursday at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

Original 7 a.m. information

Barrie Police are trying to locate Madyson Sears on compassionate grounds to ensure she's okay.

Madyson, 19, was last seen at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Police released a photo of her that was taken yesterday.

Madyson was wearing black LuLuLemon stretch pants, a white spring jacket, blue Under Armour or Nike runners and carrying a white purse.
