Barrie Member of Provincial Parliament, Ann Hoggarth, issued the following notice regarding a call for nominations.

In honour of Ontario’s 150th anniversary, MPP Hoggarth will be celebrating the women, men and youth who work tirelessly to build our community with an event on Oct. 19, 2017 and put the spotlight squarely on volunteerism and volunteers involved in making Barrie a vibrant and compassionate place to live.
During this event, MPP Hoggarth will present Ontario 150 scrolls to recognize excellence in volunteer contributions to our Barrie community. A maximum of 15 youth, 15 women and 15 men will receive this unique award. The selected recipients will have contributed to making Barrie a vibrant and compassionate community.
We hope that you will help us in recognizing the deserving individuals in Barrie with this award.
