The City of Barrie is updating the 2015 Waterfront and Marina Strategic Plan, and wants to hear from residents, businesses and organizations about their ideas for the waterfront.

View the Waterfront Strategic Plan video to see some Barrie residents who have already participated in this project.

The next virtual public meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 22, from 2-3:30 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m.

Residents must register in advance for one of the meeting times by using the registration link on the Building Barrie website. Information regarding a follow-up survey will be provided at the meeting and updated at buildingbarrie.ca/WaterfrontPlan.

The first public information centre (PIC) meeting was held on March 24. Feedback from the first PIC meeting and survey, as well as the input gathered from the second public meeting and consultation, will be included in a staff report that will go to city council in early 2023.
