Barrie-Kingston series gets underway Wednesday night at the BMC

The Barrie Colts held an open practice Tuesday at the Barrie Molson Centre.

The team opens the second round of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs on Wednesday night at the BMC when they welcome the Kingston Frontenacs.

Game time Wednesday is 7:30 p.m.

Game 2 of the series will be played Friday night at the BMC, with puck drop set for 7:30 p.m.

The series heads to Kingston for Games 3 and 4 on Sunday and Tuesday, April 10.

If necessary, Game 5 will be played Thursday, April 12 at the BMC, with Game 6 in Kingston on Friday, April 13 and Game 7 on Monday, April 16 in Barrie.

Elsewhere in the OHL, the Hamilton Bulldogs are facing the Niagara IceDogs in the other Eastern Conference semifinal. That series begins Thursday night. 

In the Western Conference, the Soo Greyhounds will take on the Owen Sound Attack, beginning Thursday night in Sault Ste. Marie, while the Kitchener Rangers and Sarnia Sting begin their series on Friday in Kitchener.
