For their final project, Culinary students at Georgian College are challenged to plan and prepare elaborate dinners featuring cuisine from specific regions.
The meals must be contemporary, sustainable and nutritionally balanced – not to mention delicious.
Each regional cuisine dinner will be cooked and served by students at the Georgian Dining Room in E Building at the Barrie Campus. Events begin with an hors d’oeuvres reception at 6 p.m., followed by a four-course meal at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner series dates are:
- Tuesday, Nov. 15 – Oktoberfest Dinner
- Wednesday, Nov. 16 – Brinner Dinner
- Tuesday, Nov. 22 – Brazilian Fall in Ontario
- Wednesday, Nov. 23 – Falling for Flavours
- Tuesday, Nov. 29 – The Canadian Maple
- Wednesday, Nov. 30 – Progressive Indian Dinner
- Wednesday, Dec. 7 – Italian Christmas Dinner
