Forecast predicts mainly cloudy day with no more snow and high of minus-1 — perfect conditions to head outdoors leading into Christmas morning

Barrie residents have been digging out of a blanket of fresh snow on Tuesday, just in time to ensure a white Christmas this year.

Some took to the to hills to sled, while other cursed the heavy shovel-fulls of the white stuff as they cleared driveways throughout the morning across the city.

Today's forecast predicts a mainly cloudy day with no more snow and a high temperature of minus-1 — perfect conditions for a day of play outdoors leading into Christmas morning.
