This year marks Eastview Secondary School's 50th anniversary, and the school community is celebrating with a weekend extravaganza. Past and current staff, students and community members are invited to join the celebration.
What: Eastview Secondary School's 50th Anniversary Celebration
When: Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13, 2017
Where: 421 Grove Street East, Barrie
Highlights of the celebration include:
Friday, May 12
- Welcome to alumni (teachers and staff), 5-6:30 p.m., Library
- Opening ceremony with performances, 6:30-7:30 p.m., cafeteria
- Alumni coffee house and decade memorabilia, 7:30-9:30 p.m., cafeteria
- Alumni basketball games, 6-9:30 p.m., front gymnasium
Saturday, May 13
- Welcome to alumni, 10-11 a.m., cafeteria
- BBQ lunch, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., outside of cafeteria by portables
- Alumni flag football, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Eastview Field
- Decade memorabilia, 12-5 p.m., cafeteria
- Alumni 50th Celebration Dance, 7 p.m.-1 a.m., Eastview Arena
