At approx 5:30 a.m., Saturday, Bradford firefighters were called to a structure fire on Highway 27, just south of Line 6.
They were met on scene by New Tecumseth firefighters, who provided mutual aid.
Portable water tanks were set up on Highway 27, which was closed in both directions.
Quick work by both fire departments extinguished the fire in the home.
No information has been released regarding the cause or if any injuries were suffered by the occupants of the home.
