Many people are sticking closer to home than usual, so here are some fun activities to try if you’re staying in Innisfil this summer. 

1. Innisfil Beach Park: Innisfil’s main park is highly used on weekends and less used through the week. The beach is great for swimming  and the park is the perfect place for a picnic. For the latest on rules and restrictions, visit https://innisfil.ca/thingstodo/innisfilbeachpark/

2. Innisfil Farmers’ Market: Nothing beats fresh produce and goods from your own backyard. The main market will be open every Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. in the south parking lot for the Innisfil Recreation Complex to Oct. 8, and the Tanger Outlet market will be open every Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. to Sept. 4. 3. Walk a trail: It’s good for you. In Innisfil you have a few options including the Friday Harbour Trail, the Thornton to Cookstown portion of the Trans Canada Trail, the Rotary Trail near town hall, and the Webb Tract of the Simcoe County Forest.

5. Golf: The great game of golf goes on. Innisfil Creek Golf Clubthe Nest Golf Club at Friday Harbour, and Big Cedar Point Golf and Country Club are among your options in Innisfil.
