Georgian College welcomed nearly 3,000 guests last Saturday at its annual fall Open House, and it’s already geared up to host more during two upcoming Get to Know Georgian online sessions.

Tonight, Nov. 19, is the first session for guests to ask questions, find out what Georgian’s seven campuses have to offer, explore 130-plus programs, admission requirements and the application process — and apply for free.

All sessions will be held virtually, so you can attend from wherever you are:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Get to Know Georgian is for anyone, no matter where you are on your post-secondary journey. Whether you’re thinking about attending Georgian yourself or are a supporter of a future student, these events are for you.

Along with Get to Know Georgian, there are lots of ways you can learn about the Georgian experience, such as by taking video tours of our campuses and residences or by connecting with our knowledgeable recruitment specialists for help answering your questions and applying.

At this year’s fall Open House, 2,970 people registered to attend, almost surpassing last year’s record-breaking attendance of more than 3,100 and demonstrating that college programs are popular options for future students looking to achieve their goals and make a difference in their careers.

“Open House is always an exciting and energizing day, and we’re thrilled so many people were able to join us to see how Georgian is more than an education; it’s an experience,” said Kristy Linklater, associate director, marketing and recruitment at Georgian. “The incredible turnout is also a testament to the hard work and dedication of Team Georgian to create unrivalled and memorable experiences for students and their supporters.”
