The 47th annual Kempenfest goes this weekend at the Barrie waterfront and workers were trying to dry out the midway on Thursday.
Held annually on the August long weekend, Kempenfest features nearly 300 artisans, an antique show, food vendors, midway, children's activities, and a line-up of live entertainment.
Art vendors are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Admission is free.
