GO Transit says there are significant delays — up to an hour — on the Barrie Line this morning due to debris on the tracks.
The issues first came to light around 10 a.m., Tuesday.
At around 11:30 a.m., GO Transit said the Allandale Waterfront station's 9:02 train, scheduled to pull into Union Station in downtown Toronto at 10:49, had been delayed 60 minutes north of the Downsview Park GO station
Some trains, such as the Aurora GO (10:57) to Union Station (11:47), had also been cancelled and shuttle buses were being used.
Delays along the Barrie Line have been growing longer and longer throughout the morning.
