• Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale

• Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake

• Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago

Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

Another significant snowfall on the way Friday night through Saturday.

A Colorado low is expected to trek towards Southern Ontario tonight, with snow spreading across much of the region overnight.

Snow will continue much of Saturday and Saturday night, before tapering off towards Sunday morning.

The snow is not expected to be particularly heavy, but the overall duration of the event is significant, and will give general snowfalls of 15 to perhaps 20 centimetres by the time it winds down early Sunday morning.

Deteriorating winter travel conditions can be expected with snow-covered roads and reduced visibility in falling snow.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
