Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning.
Mix of sun and cloud for Easter Sunday, fog patches clearing early this morning, the high 13.
Tonight rain at times heavy beginning near midnight, 15 to 25 mm, the low 6.
For Easter Monday, rain heavy at times mixed with snow ending late in the afternoon, 15 to 25 mm of rainfall, winds gusting to 60 km/h late in the morning, the high 6 but falling to 2 in the afternoon.
Here are the details of the rainfall warning in effect for:
- Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
- Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake
- Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago
Rain, heavy at times, will begin this evening and end Monday afternoon.
Total rainfall amounts of 25 to 50 mm are expected.
Rainfall warnings are issued when 25 mm or more of rain are expected within 24 hours, when the ground is frozen or saturated, and has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
