Highway 400 expected to be closed until early morning after serious crash (8 photos)

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt reports the southbound lanes of Highway 400 are expected to remain closed while debris from a crash involving four vehicles is cleaned up and investigation into the crash continues.

Ontario Provincial Police report that all southbound lanes of Highway 400 between Duckworth and Bayfield streets remain closed.

A multi-vehicle collision in the south bound lanes of Highway 400 closed the southbound lanes at about 5:35 p.m. on Thursday.

A witness reports the collision involved at least five vehicles.
