WASAGA BEACH, ON - Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is presently investigating the death of an eighteen year old male who was the victim of an apparent stabbing. The incident took place on May 21, 2016 at approximately 10:35 p.m. near Pizza Pizza, on Mosley Street in Wasaga Beach.   

The victim is from the Bolton area and was in Wasaga Beach for the long weekend.

This incident is being investigated by members of the Central Region Support Team, Detectives from Crime Units throughout Central Region, the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) under the direction of Detective Inspector RAFFAY and Detective Staff Sergeant ROSATO of the OPP Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB).

A post mortem examination will be conducted on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto.
