The library is excited to announce the opening of a new Sensory Room at the Lakeshore branch, available for booking starting in July.

This new addition is one of many exciting offerings to explore at the library this summer.

The Sensory Room is a specially designed space that will cater to individuals with sensory processing needs. It offers a variety of both calming and stimulating elements, and includes items such as tactile discs and balls, a carousel spinner seat, light cubes, infinity mirrors, and other textured and touch sensitive items. The Sensory Room can be reserved per family, for 45-minute sessions, and will be available for bookings on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations can be made online at www.innisfilidealab.ca/sensory-room.

Drop in Saturday, July 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for an opportunity to see the equipment, explore the space, and to learn more about booking the Sensory Room.
