The John Howard Society of Simcoe and Muskoka will be hosting an open house at the new facility on Mulcaster Street in downtown Barrie next week.
The non-profit organization's mission is to work with and advocate for people involved in the criminal justice system.
"Our programs and services are offered across Simcoe County and Muskoka region and are available to youth and adults with justice system involvement," states a news release.
They recently moved into a new office space, located at 78 Mulcaster St., directly across from the Barrie courthouse.
"We are very excited to be operating in this new office, and wanted to invite the public, our community partners and supporters to join us in attending our new space and learning about the programs and services we offer in the Simcoe and Muskoka areas," states the release.
The event will take place on Monday, June 17 from 1-4 p.m.
Organizers say the open house will be run as a drop-in style event and people are encouraged to stop Monday afternoon. There is no formal agenda, but people can drop in, chat with program facilitators and staff, and learn more about their services.
Snacks and beverages will also be made available.
