Police in the Alliston area are keeping their eyes open for a potato truck stolen Tuesday night from Alliston Machinery.
The truck belongs to Murphy's Farm Market & Bakery.
Nottawasaga OPP describe the stolen vehicle as a blue 2005 Kenworth truck was taken from Alliston Machinery on Dufferin Street South lduring the night..
The truck has a white box and a licence plate number 7004FC.
Police say the theft is connected to mischief at a neighbouring cleaning business, where security footage shows a man smashing the window of a van that could not be stolen due to a dead battery.
The suspect is in his early 20s and was last seen wearing a dark-coloured work jacket with reflective stripes.
