Drivers in Barrie's south end can expect traffic delays along a section of Huronia Road this week.
North Rock Group and its sub-contractors will be implementing intermittent lane closures, restrictions and shifts on Huronia Road at Little Avenue.
The work is scheduled to take place from Thursday, Sept. 7 to Friday, Sept. 8, tentatively from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
The city says the lane closures, restrictions and shifts are needed for the installation of a new fire hydrant.
The schedule is also contingent upon weather conditions.
A paid-duty officer will be present on site.
