The Midhurst trail behind the Midhurst Tennis Club is easily accessible off Highway 27.
The trail meanders up and down through a ravine overlooking Willow Creek. The creek runs through the area and eventually connects with the Minesing Wetlands.
Part of the trail connects with Finlay Mill Road in the village where there are several historical markings.
The trail itself also contains markings of the development of the Barrie Light Company in 1888 created to produce electricity from the creek, an 1845 saw mill and the Oliver Dam & Grist Mill built in 1826.
There are stairs on the route as well as benches to rest and take in the view.
The trail is a section of the Ganaraska Trail and Trans Canada Trail.
