TORONTO – Stephen Casler of Midland is celebrating after winning a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT WILD CARD (Game #1893).
“On the day I bought my winning ticket, I was at the store to pick up a few items,” shared Stephen while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he got his big cheque. “I decided to grab a couple of INSTANT tickets.”
Stephen scratched the tickets at the store. “I wanted to scan them in the ticket checker right away. I knew I won something with the INSTANT WILD CARD ticket so I scanned it first and that’s when the words, ‘Big Winner - $100,000’ appeared on the screen. I was in complete shock!”
Stephen headed home to share the good news with his girlfriend. “I asked her to pinch me. She looked at me funny but then she actually did. She asked me if everything was ok and I said, ‘Yes, I just won $100,000!’ She was so excited for me.”
Elated, Stephen shared details of his win with some close friends. “The day after I hopped in a cab and came to the Prize Centre.”
Saving for the future is top of mind for Stephen. “I want to save a large portion of my windfall. I do plan to give a small gift to the store employees and buy an e-bike. It’s something I have wanted for a while now so I’m excited I can finally purchase it,” concluded Stephen.
INSTANT WILD CARD is a $5 INSTANT game that has eight top prizes of $100,000. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.86.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on William Street in Midland.
