BARRIE - On Thursday, Special Constable Brendan Higgins of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Offender Transport Unit (OTU) located in Midland, Ontario dropped by The Salvation Army Barrie Bayside Mission Centre with a donation of boots.
The boots, which were only slightly worn were donated after a recent clean up of the OTU offices.
Given the harshness of this winter and the continuous snow of the past few days, these boots will no doubt be appreciated by the clients who use the Bayside Mission.
