Thirteen elected representatives from throughout Simcoe Muskoka were at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) today to hear first-hand important updates on healthcare in our region, including critical capacity challenges that sees RVH’s occupancy rates consistently over 110 per cent.

The health centre is working closely with its partners to develop a plan for the future which includes doubling the size of the current Georgian Drive campus and opening a south campus in Innisfil or South Barrie.
