On Sunday, June 3, 2018, police responded to reports of a shooting just after 4:00 p.m. outside an apartment complex, located at 90 Edgehill Drive, in the City of Barrie.
Prior to police arriving all involved persons fled the area in a motor vehicle.
A 42-year-old man from Aurora who arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound has now been charged with: Weapons Dangerous, Assault with a Weapon and Point a Firearm. The accused has been remanded into custody.
Investigators believe this incident to be targeted and are seeking the identity of three suspects.
