OPP investigate rollover on Highway 400

TAY TOWNSHIP – On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at approximately 6:53 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision.

A grey Buick Allure was southbound on Highway 400 south of Port Severn Road in Tay Township when for an unknown reason lost control and rolled over.

The 54 year old female driver had to been extricated from the vehicle by Tay and Georgian Bay fire.

The female driver was then transported by Simcoe County Paramedics to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
