Polar plunge raises more than $15,000

On Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, members of the Barrie Police Service and numerous Barrie residents took the icy plunge for the Annual Polar Plunge, in support of Special Olympics, Ontario. The event hosted 70 brave plungers of all ages.

This year $15,600 was raised and 100 per cent of the funds will directly benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario.
