May 25 update
Thank you Barrie for your assistance. The two suspects have been identified and charged for theft under $5,000.
May 20 original release
On Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 7:06 p.m. a male and female were walking through Kozlov Mall, located at 400 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie. The pair stopped at the customer service center, which at the time was unoccupied.
It appeared the female kept watch while the male swooped behind the desk and removed a black Adidas backpack that belonged to the customer service employee.
Suspect #1:
- Male, white
- Brown hair
- Slim build
- Wearing: dark coloured T-shirt, tall white socks and shorts
- Carrying dark backpack
- Tattoos on left forearm and left calf
Suspect #2:
- Female, white
- Dark brown hair tied back
- Medium build
- Wearing white tank top, black stretch pants and black shoes
- Carrying a white and light blue recyclable shopping bag
