Police respond after threats made against high school

Barrie Police Service is currently investigating a threat made toward Innisdale Secondary School, located at 90 Little Avenue in the City of Barrie.

Staff contacted police after they located a written message on two separate dates within the school. 

The notes indicated a threat to the school for today’s date, Friday, June 17, 2016.

Police are conducting an investigation and had extra officers at the school this morning to monitor the situation.

At this time, police do not feel there is any concern for student or staff safety.
