Police seek witnesses to serious motorcycle collision

Barrie Police are seeking witnesses in a collision between a minivan and a motorcycle at the intersection of St. Vincent Street and Cundles Road East.

On Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016 at 3:40 p.m. Barrie Police were called to the intersection of St. Vincent Street and Cundles Road East, in the City of Barrie, for the collision.  

Police attended the scene but were not able to speak to all the witnesses from the incident. 

At this time the Barrie Police Service Traffic Unit is conducting reconstruction of the scene and needs further information from those in the area that witnessed the incident.

A 23-year-old Waubaushene male, who was not properly licenced to operate the motorcycle, received non-life threatening but serious injuries. 

He was transported to a Toronto area hospital for additional intensive care. Charges in the incident are pending the completion of the investigation.
