Sunrise Medicinal in downtown Barrie has reopened but the former marijuana dispensary is not selling pot.

Manager Casey Bennett tells BarrieToday.com that the shop is now offering consulting for marijuana patients.

Sunrise was one of two marijuana dispensaries police raided over the summer.

A number of people were charged including the owner of Sunrise.

New Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations mean Health Canada only allows medical-marijuana patients to buy from one of 35 licensed producers.
